METRIS BATTS

Metris Batts Coley is the principal partner of Affiliates, a capacity-building consultant for nonprofit organizations, and was the Chief Operating Officer of the Dunns Josephine Hotel in the historic Overtown neighborhood of Miami, Florida. She is also one of the three female partners of the Avent on Falls Bed and Breakfast in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

With over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Metris has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to community service and empowerment. She has been an active member of The Miami Woman’s Club for 16 years, where she has contributed significantly to its mission.

Metris's leadership qualities have been recognized through various roles, including serving as the 2020 GFWC Florida Leadership Education and Development (LEADS) representative. She held the positions of 2022–2024 GFWC Florida Fundraising and Development Chairman and Grants Committee Chairman.

In addition to her professional achievements, Metris is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., further exemplifying her dedication to community involvement and service and she rides motorcycles.
